The Genesis store is handing out used skin codes#669

I bought the Genesis Orcane skin, but couldn’t redeem it since the code was apparently already redeemed. The genesis support email didn’t actually exist and I couldn’t send an email to it, so I have to contact start.gg for support.

Also, generally, using start.gg to buy skins was very frustrating. The signup form in the checkout was broken, so I had to find a different sign in page and create an account there. Perhaps Aether Studios should go back to using a different vendor for skins.

they should not use a vendor at all. Do it like almost any other e-sport related game and make this an ingame thing that everyone can see and advertise the pot size in game aswell. this creates hype and awareness for the events.

start.gg support was very fast, and they did give me a new code. So it was really annoying yesterday, but they did fix it promptly

I wonder how this happened though? Maybe someone is entering in random codes to redeem

We’ve been handling this on our end, but now start.gg will take over for replacements - Just make sure to shoot them an email asking for a replacement!
