BUG, exit stage select screen in lobby#487

This has been a bug for a while. I usually play random characters in lobbies, but i dont like dittos. When we get to the stage select screen i can see if we got the same character. I try to go back to the previous screen (character select screen) so i can get a different character, then my game crashes. It’s been that way since launch i think. I don’t know if it has anything to do with me picking random character, but thought i should mention it.

The fix for the issue itself, which stems from other factors rather than the crash, is a little complex and will take some time to achieve.

However, we’re going to try and deploy a temporary solution to assist with the issue partially!
